Sourced from the Staveall Farm in Thame, Oxfordshire these free-range bronze turkeys are slow grown, which results in more succulent meat with delicious flavour . The characteristic plump and tender meat is low in fat, saturated fat and sodium with a natural and superior flavour. Patrick (the farmer) we think produces simply the best free range bronze turkeys.

Free Range Creedy Carver Duck

Price per kg: £5.68

Creedy Carver duck breast are free range and come from Devon. The name is taken from the River Creed where the farm is. The low density GM free diet is completely free of antibiotics or growth promoters. Made simply of corn, vegetable protein, minerals and vitamins it is of low density to allow leisurely growth and a better flavour. Grown in such welfare friendly conditions ducklings really do produce a better quality and flavour.

Preheat your oven to 220oc, Fan 200oc, Gas Mark 7 remove all packaging from the duck and take the bag of giblets (if included) out of the body cavity (they’re useful for stock). Weigh the duck without the giblets. Place on rack in middle of oven for 20 minutes per 454g (1lbs) plus and additional 15mins. Leave to rest out of oven for 20 minutes

Free Range Goose

Gressingham Geese are grown free range on farms in East Anglia, from early summer until autumn, where they graze the grass as well as eat a mix of wheat and soya with vitamins and minerals. The birds are looked after by experienced farmers who are trained to care for these big but beautiful birds. All our free range geese are traditionally “dry plucked” which gives a more attractive appearance and helps retain the juices better for a more tender and succulent roast

Heat oven to 240C/fan 220C/gas 9. Roast (weigh the bird after it's stuffed, then allow 15 minutes per 500g, plus an extra 30 minutes) and serve with a sharp, fruit-based sauce such as apple or cherry. Goose fat is the consistency of butter and has been used for hundreds of years to cook the world's best tasting roast potatoes!
